On prom night, Jesse arrives to pick up his girlfriend, Natalia, from her house. She is still getting ready for the night when her best friend Teagan walks into her room. 

Jesse feels awkward and out of place while the girls are getting ready, he manages to escape the awkwardness and makes his way into the bathroom. After checking himself out in the mirror, he notices a positive pregnancy test on the ground. In a panic Jesse hides the pregnancy test right before Teagan walks in. Feeling overwhelmed, he ends up confiding in Teagan about the test. Teagan tries to help but only amplifies Jesse’s worries
